Staff Nurse – Galway

Our client is a Residential Nursing Home based in Galway who are looking for an experienced Staff Nurses with a minimum of +2 years’ post graduate experience with NMBI registration.

These positions is available on a full-time, part-time or locum basis position working alongside a multidisciplinary team Monday – Sunday 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. There is the option to undertake additional work hours with excellent flexibility in regards to day-time or red-eye shifts on offer.

Duties/Skills Required

• MBI registration
• Fluent English (OET required if applicable)
• Provide care to patients and residents based on their care plan outlined by their doctor
• Accurately monitor and record observations on patients’ conditions
• Maintain accurate records of residents care
• Identify care planning needs
• Carry out risk assessment
• Consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members
• Direct or supervise less experienced nursing staff
• Monitor patients’ diet and exercise
• Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements
• Report any issues that arose during each shift
